Speaking Experience: Nicola spoke at IATEFL in 2014 about gender equality in ELT. She will be giving a mini-plenary at Innovate ELT in Barcelona in May 2016.

Nicola is a keen blogger who doesn’t shy away from controversy. She has 12+ years EFL teaching experience and has published books with Pearson, CUP and Harper Collins with a to-be-released book with Black Cat. She has also written and edited audio dramas for BBC Learning English and had articles published in Modern English Teacher, ET Pro and EL Gazette. She is based in Madrid and can travel in Spain and the UK.

I really enjoyed the experience of speaking at IATEFL and, despite the backlash that came from certain high profile characters, wouldn’t let it stop me taking a controversial stance again if it was something that needed saying.
